Delete your account

Last updated: 10 October 2026

How to delete your MRAFAD account, what is deleted, and what we keep and why

1. Delete it in the app

  • Open the MRAFAD app and sign in with your mobile number.
  • Go to Account, then choose “Delete account” at the bottom of the menu.
  • Read what is deleted and what is kept, then type DELETE in the confirmation field.
  • Tap “Delete account permanently”. The account is deleted at once and you return to the sign-in screen.

2. If you no longer have the app

Email support@mrafad.sa with the subject “Account deletion request”. The request must come from the owner of the mobile number registered on the account and include:

  • The mobile number registered on the account.
  • The organisation's commercial register (CR) number and name.
  • The account holder's name and role in the organisation.

We verify ownership of the number with a code sent to it, then complete the deletion within 30 days at most and confirm it by email.

3. What is deleted

  • Your name, mobile number, email and photo.
  • All your sessions and sign-in tokens, and the devices registered for notifications.
  • Saved searches, in-app notifications and contact preferences.
  • Your organisation membership. If you are its sole owner the organisation is closed: its open requests are cancelled, its live offers withdrawn, its services archived and it disappears from search.

4. What we keep, and for how long

Saudi commercial and tax regulations require us to keep transaction records. We therefore keep the following, linked to an anonymous account shown as “Deleted user”:

  • Signed contracts and their signatures as signed.
  • Invoices, the escrow ledger, financial entries and withdrawals.
  • Disputes and reviews tied to contracts.
  • The contact-consent log and the audit log, as evidence of what happened.

These records are kept for the statutory period: 10 years for commercial records and at least 6 years for tax records, then deleted or permanently anonymised. They are never used for marketing in the meantime.

5. If you own the organisation

The sole owner's account cannot be deleted while the organisation still has obligations or money. Finish the following first, or contact support to transfer the organisation:

  • Remove the organisation's other team members.
  • Complete or cancel active contracts.
  • Settle funds held in escrow and open disputes.
  • Withdraw the wallet balance and let pending withdrawals finish.

6. Subscriptions

Subscriptions bought through an app store (App Store or Google Play) are not cancelled by deleting the account; cancel them in your device's store settings.
